The earrings SCHMETTERLING are the perfect match for a warm summer day, your favourite dress and an afternoon walk through the botanical gardens.
They have the shape of a butterfly, hanging from a piece of silver chain. The butterfly is inspired by illustrations by Maria Sibylla Merian who was one of the first insect researchers. She travelled to Suriname around 1700 where she documented the fauna and flora there.
The butterflies are made out of nut wood and including the silver coated hooks they are about 7 cm (2,75 inches) long.
The earrings are plastic free and can be recycled at the end of their life cycle.
I package all my products plastic free and with as little packing material as possible to protect the environment.
